Bob Dylan Joins Our List Of Rock’s Least Likely TV Pitchmen

Bruno Mars may have been the true winner of last night’s Super Bowl, but Bob Dylan wins the award for blowing the most minds. The quintessential rock ‘n’ roll rebel stunned fans by appearing in a commercial for Detroit’s own Chrysler, urging folks to ”Let Germany brew your beer, let Switzerland make your watch, let Asia assemble your phone…

We will build your car.” The ad is not the first time that Dylan has appeared in a commercial (check 2004′s Victoria’s Secret spot), or even the first time he’s schilled cars (try 2007′s Chrysler Escalade ad), but most fans still found it pretty surprising. The craziest part? That wasn’t even his only ad of the night! Read on to see 15 of the most shocking rock stars-turned-pitchmen of all time!

Good and Bad “As Seen on TV” Products

In part one of this story, we covered six products that do not live up to the advertising claims. They included the Eggstractor, the GripGo, StirCrazy, InstaHang, the Steam Buddy, and the most ridiculous of all, the UroClub. Now there are also some good As Seen on TV products out there. Some of them are so good they would be a bargain at twice the price. After talking to friends and colleagues and reading reviews online, six products live up to their claims. Billy Mays would be proud. And it should be noted that no samples were provided, and the writer is not receiving any compensation for these reviews.
